My Bio: As a former professional dancer-turned-writer, I've spent the last seven years translating my performing, teaching and choreographing experience to the page. It's been my great honor to have articles published in Dance Magazine, Dance Spirit, Dance Teacher, Pointe and Dance Retailer News. I've also written six non-fiction children's books on dance for Capstone Press, on the topics of breaking, dance teams, jazz, modern, swing and Irish Step dance. Before committing to my scribe status full-time, I was captain of the national-championship winning NYU dance team, performed at the Grammy and Bollywood Awards, and was a member of the all-female hip-hop troupe Decadancetheatre.
