My Bio: Nichelle is passionate about dance. She began taking lessons at an early age and holds a bachelor's degree in Dance from Slippery Rock University. She began her teaching career over 15 years ago and has taught ballet, jazz, modern, tap, creative dance, and theatrical dance in private studios, community colleges, and at a major university. Her students, ranging in age from 3-65, include beginners as well as advanced movers. As a performer, she has been a member of contemporary dance companies in Pennsylvania and in Houston, TX. Her own wonderful teachers have inspired her to pass on the knowledge and legacy of the art of movement. Now that she is a full-time mom as well, she uses technology to stay connected to dance and teaching. Through her blog she hopes to continue reaching out to all that strive for excellence in their pursuit of dance.
