My Bio:

Lindsay Dreyer is Dancer Magazine's Editor at Large. Follow her on Twitter at twitter.com/Lindsay_Live.

Lindsay's love of performing began at the age of 5 when she was cast in a national Crisco commercial. She began her dance training a few years later studying tap, jazz and ballet at Meg Segreto's Dance Centre in Plantation, FL. While a student there she attended numerous competitions and won 2nd Runner Up in Florida's National Teenager Pageant. She fell in love with ballet and when she was 13 she went on to study with Magda Aunon at Ft. Lauderdale Ballet Classique where she danced Soloist roles and performed annually at the Southeast Regional Ballet Association (SERBA).

Later, Lindsay studied under Deborah Buttner of the International Ballet Company (IBC), originating Principal roles such as Sugar Plum Fairy in "The Nutcracker" and Evil Stepsister in "Cinderella." The founder of the IBC Community Outreach Dance Program, she taught ballet to underprivileged children in her town and earned the Prudential Spirit of Community State Finalist award for her work.

She attended summer programs at many prestigious institutions, including the Rock School, Chautauqua Workshop and Festival, Harid Conservatory, and Boston Ballet. A member of Screen Actors Guild, she has appeared in numerous national television commercials, industrials and print advertisements.

Lindsay holds a B.A. in Political Science and a B.F.A. in Dance from Barnard College of Columbia University, where she graduated Cum Laude and choreographed original works for Minor Latham Playhouse and Orchesis. One of her proudest achievements is completing her 30-page senior research thesis on Dance/Movement Therapy.

Lindsay, who has worked extensively in television on such shows as Inside Edition and Rachael Ray, writes, produces, and hosts "Lindsay Live" and other original Dance.com video content. She also guest judges for national talent competitions including Star Systems and BravO!.

Lindsay is currently represented by Lucille DiCampli at McDonald Selznick Associates (MSA). www.msaagency.com
