My Bio: LAUREN HUMM FAKETE reports on Ballet, Modern and dance fitness.

Lauren received her training at the Wilmington Ballet Company in Delaware and the Lionville School of Dance in Exton, PA. She holds two bachelor's degrees, cum laude, in Dance and Government and International Politics with a concentration in Political Theory and Law from George Mason University in Fairfax, VA. She danced and choreographed for George Mason's dance company, served on its Board of Directors, and was invited to perform at the prestigious American College Dance Festival.

Her most recent endeavor was choreographing Peachcraft Studio's full-length musical Children of Eden in Summit, New Jersey. She teaches dance and creative movement to homeless and at-risk children ages 3-16 at House of the Roses Dance Company in New York, New York. She has also taught ballet, pointe, hip-hop and fitness dance. She is studying to become a certified personal trainer and loves learning about new fitness methods for dancers.
