BreaTHe

beyonD, an amazing new convention, has given me an opportunity to do something I have always dreamed.  This summer, July 28th to be exact, beyonD will debut their life-changing summer event "BreaTHe" in New Orleans. It is a week of training with a faculty that lives to inspire, and it ends in a show. A SHOW! I get to choreograph for a show.

The idea of choreographing for the sole purpose of displaying the art of dance... that idea...I live for that. No Competition. No Judges scribbling on paper.
Just Dancing. And, that is my favorite thing in the world.

As the convention toured through the fall, 4 dancers were chosen from each city as finalists to star in the BreaTHe show. Online voting determines the winner.  This is where I need your help.  The voting session begins today, November 13th, and lasts through November 27th.  You can vote once per day.  I want to tell you who my favorite is, but I shouldn't. So, please go here: http://www.beyonddancelive.com/08winners.htm and view and vote.

Pick a good winner, for I am excited about this show.

Are there any kids out there that are finalists? If so, tell us why we should vote for you. Are you a good listener or a champion prize fighter? Or maybe you dance every minute of the day.... even in the grocery store.  Whatever it is, let us know.

bye.

thanks for listening.

VIDEO CONTEST!!! Feel free to enter!

There is this fun contest happening on YouTube. It's called Show YouTube You Can Dance. The following video explains all the details. The video is the third attempt by Emily C. Shock ( of Applause Studios in Oklahoma) explaining the rules of the contest. (The video is funny  because it makes me want to watch the first two attempts of her recording the video.)

I think it's a brilliant idea to get all dancers involved in a fun contest that is just for the joy of dance (and maybe a puppy too).

To check out the video click on "Read More"

There is also a fun twist about the contest after the jump!
