Paula Abdul Dances Like There's No Tomorrow... With Good Reason

Back in her heyday, Paula Abdul was the "it" girl, especially when it came to dance. LA Laker Girl turned choreographer pop star diva, she rocked music videos and live performances like nobody's business. From tap dancing in "Straight Up" to honoring the legacy of Bob Fosse's "All that Jazz" in her raunchy rendition of "Cold Hearted Snake," she pushed boundaries without ever relinquishing her studio technique.

So now, having given credit where credit is due, I must deliver the sad news (as if we didn't already know!) that Paula Abdul is not only past her prime, she's officially a has-been.

When her much anticipated come-back album 20 Y.O. flopped in 2006, the music industry was ready to write her off as just another a has-been. It looked as if her career was officially coming to an end.
