Last night, I had the opportunity to attend the 4th annual American Tap Dance Foundation (ATDF) Benefit, "Take it to the Stage," at Judson Memorial Church in New York City.

It was such an exciting night for tap! We saw performances by the The Tap City Youth Ensemble, a program that offers serious, young tap students professional training and performing experience, Barbara Duffy & Company, Chloe Arnold, Jason Samuels and Dormeshia Sumbry Edwards. There was also a new concert series called Sound Check, inaugurating the Foundation’s presentation of a home-based season focusing on the diversity of tap dance in New York City.

What's even cooler is that I got to catch up with one of my Barnard College professors, Margaret Morrison, who is the Education Director at ATDF.

Afterwards, we mingled at the "Meet the Artists" Reception. Check out the pictures I managed to snap!
