Associated Press has confirmed that after a two-year battle with pancreatic cancer, "Dirty Dancing" star Patrick Swayze has died at the age of 57. The news was announced by his publicist Annett Wolf who said that he was surrounded by family.

Swayze's death comes less than two months before he would have received the Rolex Dance Award at the Career Transitions for Dancers 24th Anniversary Jubilee "America Dances!" "It is an honor to present the Rolex Dance Award to Patrick Swayze, one of the most recognizable American actors, dancers, and singer-songwriters of our time," said Allen Brill, President and CEO of Rolex Watch USA. "We are pleased to celebrate not only his legendary career and many contributions to the world of dance, but also his continued support of the mission of Career Transition For Dancers."

Swayze, a three-time Golden Globe winner, showed great strength as he continued working while battling the disease, appearing on "The Beast," an A&E drama series. There are also reports that he and his wife were working on a memoir.

Before appearing on Broadway as Danny Zuko in "Grease," Swayze studied with the Harkness Ballet Company and then the Joffrey. He was also a principal dancer with Eliot Feld Ballet. "I started as a dancer and in my heart I'll always be one," said Swayze.

Patrick Swayze...

Patrick Swayze, victim of pancreatic cancer who had just passed away after giving word that his cancer had spread to his liver and that what his doctors told him to countdown to the end. The actor preferred
to discontinue taking painkilling drugs while he was making up for his movie "The Beast". Patrick Swayze has been a greatful icon of the entertainment industry, he was that hunky actor who danced his way into moviegoers' hearts with "Dirty Dancing" and then broke them with "Ghost" died after a battle with pancreatic cancer at the age of 57. Death of Patrick really made some sad and bother about it.Family of him, even theyre with enough money spent for the medical treatments of Swayze might ask for emergency help financially. We all come up short every now and again, and that's when we could use a no fax cash advance.  There are a myriad of reasons why you could need a no fax cash advance. Maybe you were the victim of a horrific construction accident, and need it to cover a hospital bill like what Patrick's family experienced. Or it could be that the independent contractor that you hired to build a deck forgot to set it on joists, and the whole thing has collapsed.  Regardless of reason for needing a no fax cash advance, there are plenty of payday lenders to help you with your need.http://personalmoneystore.com/moneyblog/2009/09/12/fax-cash-advance-keys/
