Welcome to Monsters!
Dear Dance Moms & Dads,
I wanted to extend an invitation to you all to check out Monsters of HipHop or Monsters of Contemporary. My name is Andy Funk and my wife and I started Monsters of HipHop about 7 years ago based on her experience growing up dancing on the competition circuit as well as our experience on the studio side (my wife also operates a local dance studio in the Baltimore area.)
We limit our registrations to about 600 TOTAL not a thousand or more! We believe in quality, not necessarily quantity. We hope that by keeping our conventions to a reasonable size, we will last a lot longer because people will have a better experience and parents feel as though they're getting their money's worth.
Both of our conventions feature several of the top choreographers like Napoleon & Tabitha Dumo, Dave Scott, Rhapsody, and on the contemporary side, Sonya Tayeh, Matt Cady, Peter Chu and many more!! Because we limit our enrollment, we're able maintain an open learning environment where the faculty interacts freely with the kids.
We award tons of scholarships including The Ailey Extension (NYC), Debbie Reynolds & Millennium in LA and several to Monsters Conventions.
Thanks for allowing me to introduce you to our company. Please feel free to email me directly at andy@monstersofhiphop.com if you have any questions at all. If you're interested, you can find more information and our 2009-2010 World Tour Schedule on our website at www.monstersofhiphop.com.
Have a great dance season!
Peace,
Andy Funk
