We have a few firsts to talk about!

The first, first, to be mentioned is our very first review.  I am sure some people will think that it is no big deal, but let me put this out there: getting a review or press, or whatever you would like to call it is very chicken and the egg scenario.  Which comes first?, the performance or the good review; it is hard to get one without the other!

Our review was in the Examiner, and can be found  here (for those of you who may be interested in reading it).  It was incredibly exciting for us to receive such kind words (bravo to my dancers!) and we hope to perform in more Break the Mold! Shows in the future!

Our second, first, is that we will be performing for the first time out of New York!  We are very excited for our first company road trip!  Piling the dancers and myself into a car and taking a 6 hour drive from the city is sure to be an entertaining adventure

BEings will be presenting work in the Elan Summer Dance Festival in Provincetown, Massachusetts on August 22nd at 1:10pm and again at 4:40.  We will be presenting a half hours worth of work (so if you happen to find yourself in Provincetown, come on down!)

Check out the roster of companies performing in the Elan Awards Festival after the jump!

We are very excited to be performing with such a wonderful roster of companies including: Synthesis Dance Project , BoSoma Dance Company, Ryan McNally, Maria Hackbarth , The Mantis Project, Noelle Patten Dance, Roschman and Artists, BODYART, Andrea Andresakis, and Nicole del Pino.  The Festival is free to the public

We sincerely hope to see some of you there!
