Why I am Unstoppable: I feel that I am "Unstoppable" because I keep going even when the odds are against me. It's easy to be good at something when it comes natural. My dream is to be a performer/dancer/actress and I know that to be "Unstoppable", I need to put the extra effort into the areas that I am not naturally good at. That takes dedication, persistence and strength. Dancing at Icon Dance Complex is training me to be the "Unstoppable" performer I want to be!!!

Studio:Dancin' Queens
Why I am Unstoppable: I am unstoppable because whatever life throws my way I only use that to make me stronger. Every life experience is my fuel to get me to the next stage. So I will pirouette through every stage of life with a smile on my face and my dancing feet will never stop. This is why, I AM UNSTOPPABLE!

Studio: Accents on Dance
Why I am Unstoppable: I have been unstoppable all through my life. When I was 3 years-old I had to deal with my parents getting divorce and leaving my hometown the day after my 4th birthday. However, last year during one of my dance classes I broke my ankle and had to be out of dance and the recital that year. When the recital was over, the week after, I had to learn 3/4 of one of my tap dances in 5 days. Luckily, I managed to learn the dance, my ankle heeled, and we got a gold in nationals. My life has been crazy in my twelve years of living.
Sarah Canny
Studio: Southern Tier Academy of Dance
Why I am Unstoppable: I feel I am unstoppable because nothing could ever stop the love I have for dancing. The joy I feel when I am dancing could never be taken away. When I dance, I feel that I am powerful and nothing can stop me. I have been a dancer since I was three years old, and I have studied styles including tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical, hip hop and more. As a dancer, I have learned never to give up when things are hard. I have learned that only you can stop your own progress, and never to let anything get in the way. I am unstoppable because nothing will ever stop me from dancing and continuing to learn, because I love dance more than anything.

Studio: Dance Forum South
Why I am Unstoppable: I love to dance and I enjoy competition. However, two years ago I became very ill and had to take a break. I was so disappointed because I was having a great dance year. I came back to dance to work hard and I'm doing better than ever! I was not going to let any illness or negativity stop me from doing what I LOVE to do! "When it's in your heart, nothing can stop you."
Gabrielle Kahn
Studio: Horizons Dance Center
Why I am Unstoppable: There could be many reasons that I am unstoppable but the main reason is because I have the heart and determination for dance. To be able to really connect with the piece that you are performing you have to understand it and someone like me listens to this song until they can find a connection. Every time I step foot on stage I put my heart and soul into that dance because I truly love the art of dance. After you dance there is always room for improvement and I tried to overlook my dances with my teachers and see what some judges liked and what some didn't. Dance is so important to me its my life and I hope you see it through my dancing.
Amanda Castro
Studio: Danstarz Dance Team
Why I am Unstoppable: Being Unstoppable means to strive for the best. I am Unstoppable. I can achieve anything I set my mind to because I believe in reaching goals. I am unstoppable because even if I know I will not be perfect or I will fail at something, it will not stop me from trying. Id rather try something and fail with my head held high, than to not have tried at all and always wonder whether I would have succeeded or not. Nothing could ever get in the way of my hopes and dreams because I Am Unstoppable.
Alison Sullivan
Studio: King Centre for the Performing Arts
Why I am Unstoppable: The reason that I am unstoppable is because there is no one or nothing that will stop me from perusing my dream which is dancing on Broadway. People may tell me that my chances are slim and that it is hard to get a job but I will never let them ruin my dreams. I will take as much advice as possible from my teachers, family, friends and I will work even harder. I will never give up on my dream or let someone stop me until I am taking my bow at curtain calls on Broadway.
Olivia Piatkowski
Studio: Colby Center for Dance
Why I am Unstoppable: Most kids find themselves blending in with the crowd and having the same opinions as everyone else in their "group." That can be alright at times, but we as people should have the strength to stand out, and have our own opinions. When we can be proud to be willing to think differently from other people, and to not feel like we have to conform to be accepted then we are strong. Trying to always do your best at everything, and striving to be better sets people apart from a group on its own. As long as you care for everyone, do your best at everything, and strive for excellence, you can accomplish anything and be UNSTOPPABLE. As life goes on though, it can become difficult for anyone to always be strong and not let things get them down. We each lose people close to us, and facing the next phase of life without them makes it tough to keep going, but we learn to use what they taught us to become stronger. We each face family issues, medical issues, self-image issues, and through them we come around the bend to learn that when life isn't perfect, sometimes pain can be a motivator. Together with the people you are close to, you learn that you are good enough, that you're special, and that the unique things about you are what make you UNSTOPPABLE. Each unique touch that you bring to the table of life can work in your favor, and we all figure out ways to use these things to set ourselves apart. And although we each exert our independence at different ages, we must realize too that most of all, it is those people that you choose to keep close to your heart that won't let you fall in your times of need. Who we are, and those around us that love us and care for us help to make us UNSTOPPABLE. If everyone took a second to realize that they have the power within them to be stronger, to see challenge as an open door, and to accept they have people in their lives that would do anything to help them reach their goals, then they too will be UNSTOPPABLE like us.
