The King of Pop

Mixed reports are coming in from a variety of sources about "The King of Pop," who apparently suffered a cardiac arrest at his home in Los Angeles at 12:21 p.m. PST. More after the jump...

Since this is a quickly devolping story, reports vary from CNN, which reports that he was taken to the hospital, to TMZ, which reports that the star was already dead when parametics arrived. Reporters are currently having a difficult time confirming the news with his family or reps. Jackson, 50, was scheduled to go on tour in London next month.
If the TMZ reports are true, this is a huge loss for the dance community. Jackson, while known in recent years for his bizarre plastic surgery, sexual misconduct charges, and strange antics (like holding his baby over a crowd of fans from his hotel room), I prefer to remember him as the creator of some of the greatest music videos of all time as well as biggest selling album of all time "Thriller."
