Auditions & Stampede: The Groovaloos!

Update from Shooz of The Groovaloos!

Last blog I mentioned that most of the Groovaloos girls are also members of the amazing all girl crew, The BEAT FREAKS who placed 2nd on the most recent season of MTV's America's Best Dance Crew. Those Groovaloos/BeatFreaks members are: Teresa Espinosa, Keeley Kaukimoce, Lindsey Blaufarb, Lady Jules Urich, Maryss, and Alison Faulk (Alison wasn't able to shoot ABDC as she's on tour choreographing for Pink).

Needless to say they've been pretty busy, but have again made it a priority to perform and be a part of our theatrical stage show GROOVALOO as the production and their Groovaloos family mean so much to them. That said, they may miss a couple shows due to scheduling SO, this week our stage director, Danny Cistone, producer Joel Viertel and myself held auditions for some of the female roles!

The auditions went AMAZING and we have found some extremely talented ladies. Really looking forward to seeing what they bring to the roles on the nights the step into the show. Don't forget that besides the national tour starting in January GROOVALOO plays in LA this August and our New York premiere in September!

Right now I'm preparing for a rehearsal for a group of Groovaloos that are going up to Canada this weekend for some press events and interviews in anticipation of our eight day engagement this July at the Calgary Stampede!

The Stampede is the largest outdoor rodeo and festival in the world. After this press weekend we'll be back up to perform at The Stampede from July 3-10. Any Canucks reading this, hope to see you there!
