Dance everywhere and anywhere

I recently came across this video on YouTube, of people in a train station in Belgium spontaneously (but in choreography of course) begin dancing to the Sound of Music.  As the piece progresses it's hard to tell who in the train station may be a dancer or who is just a by-stander watching.  I loved watching the by-standers faces, some enjoy it others look confused and bothered.

As you watch it, I hope you remember that starting this Thursday is National Dance Week.  This week is meant to introduce all to the joys of dance whether they've never danced a day in their life or those who are experienced dancers.  It is  a week where we get up and dance...maybe not in a train station but sometime, somewhere this week.

Dance is an art.  And art is a part of life.  I think this short video relays that anyone and everyone can dance wherever they are. As well as the point that we can share dance with everywhere...wherever we are.

Enjoy!

I just love those little films of spontanious actions! My friends & me often dance in the streets and the fields nearby our homes :)
