Let us start with excitedly announcing that BEings dance is now a sponsored project of Fractured Atlas, a non profit arts service organization, which for anyone who does not know (drumroll please) it means we can now apply for grants and send out donation letters.  Basically, put less than nicely, we can ask for money to help support us as a company.  Moral support is still very much appreciated as well!

For any of you New Yorkers reading this, if you happened to be in Madison Square Park last Sunday and saw some dancers strutting their stuff in booty shorts and black tanks, BEings was there filming some footage for the 60x60 Dance Show (check out the piece on YouTube  We would like to thank  Revlon for sending us false lashes for our 60x60 piece.  I would like to give a shout out to my amazing dancers for walking several blocks and an avenue or two in their booties (guys, I am sorry for your public half nakedness).

Very excitedly, we were also featured in Future Celebrity Mag's Catch the Step article.  As well, I was asked the question, "What is Dance?"  Check out my answer here!

Anyone who may be in the city this weekend or next, BEings will be performing at HATCH this Saturday night, April 18th   at 8pm, and at WAXworks next Sunday, April 26th at 7pm.  Both will be presentations of new work.  We are very excited and hope to see some friendly faces.

We would love to be your Facebook friend.  Our page is always updated with upcoming performances, videos, and fun photos.

E-mail me at emilybufferd@danceruniverse.com, love to hear from you!
