Owen's Competition Corner

Welcome to the O-ZONE

Went to see Rasta Thomas' Bad Boys Of Dance this past weekend...more later.

This coming weekend we will be visiting Terry Hazel of On Stage America, Jeremy Keeton of Adrenaline, Steve Wappel of Starquest, and Kelley Larkin of Thrive, The Competition.
The competition beat goes on, despite weakness in the economy. Competitions seem to be well attended.

Saturday night April 11 at The Kravis Center in West Palm Beach we were witness to an amazing production, an excellent company of dancers who provided a great evening of dance production...Rasta Thomas' Bad Boys of Dance. And here's a flash, the Bad Boys are very, very good.

And so is that Pretty Girl of Dance, Adrienne Canterna-Thomas, BBOD Asst. Artistic Director. Adrienne brings her superior dancing talent, beauty, and choreographic skills to this superior company, and hubby Rasta has surrounded her with some amazing male dancers.
Anthony Colantone, Michael Keefe, Adrian Lee, Chris McCarthy, Robbie Nicholson, Robert Roldan, and Rasta, of course, are the bad boys. And yes, they can be very bad. LOL. Rasta choreographs as well.
There is something for everyone on the eclectic program. It's just a great evening.
Check out rastathomas.com or badboysofdance.com for their schedule, and make it your priority to see the Bad Boys of Dance. Believe me, you will love it as much as we did.
Spending some time backstage with Rasta, Adrienne, and Robbie was fun. Talked with Fran Peters and her husband, Jim, backstage as well. It was all good.
Joe Cote, publisher of Dancer Magazine and danceruniverse.com was in attendance, down from his New York City home.

Happy dance trails,
Owen

Let me hear from you.
