The Official "Everything I Need For Competition" List

Hey Everyone, this is our gift to you, from JAM cosmetics, for a Happy and Successful 2009 Competition Year!

It took a while to complete.  However...here is, I think, the most complete list of EVERYTHING you will need for competition weekends!  I have polled dance moms, dancers, teachers, retailers, and perused websites to create THE list of lists.  Print it out for yourself, your studio, your dancers.  Email it to your friends, moms, and dance teachers.

A great idea might be to have these items delegated out by category and contributed to a "studio competition kit" by each family.  This may be more cost effective than every single family bringing every single item themselves...BUT do whatever works best for your studio as decided by the studio owner/director.

Check it out...

The best list!

I was trying to download the Young Dancer video to my ipod since I saw it on your list but I can't figure out how to do it.

This is the first year that our group has to put on some of our own makeup and I want to bring the video to our competitions. Can you tell me how to download it?

p.s. we LOVE this list

Download how-to videos!

You first will need to download RealPlayer (it's free) to your computer.  Then, when you play the Young Dancer video a little tab will appear above the video that says "Download this video".  Click it...now the Young Dancer video will be on your computer and will be available - just like any other video - to download to your iPod!  Let me know how it goes!  Thanks for choosing JAM cosmetics!  Have a fabulous competition year!

Downloading videos

It didn't work for me.  I tried it from both Firefox and Safari. I have RealPlayer. I use a MacBook Pro. I saw it on YouTube and MySpace Video too. I even had my mom try it cause she's a graphic designer. Does it need to be done on a computer with Windows?

Thanks for getting back to me so fast!
