Philip Northington is thrilled to be dancing with BEings!  Born and raised on the central coast of California, He has performed in regional theatre productions of: Guys and Dolls and Rogers and Hammersteins Cinderella as a singer and dancer.  He recently completed a contract aboard the Dawn Princess as a dancer, travelling out of San Francisco to the Mexican Riviera and throughout Alaska.  Straight out of  high school he became a trainee with Ballet Magnificat!He is currently in his second semester at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy and will graduate this coming May!  He is so excited to see what New York City has in store for him!

How old were you when you started dancing? 12

Where are you originally from? Los Osos, CA (Central Coast)

What is your worst style? Fosse - I am determined to get better at it though!

What was your first professional dance job? PGT Entertainnment/Princess Cruises, 6 month contract

What did your least favorite dance costume look like? When I was 13 or 14 I did a dance to thriller by Michael Jackson, I wore trashy jeans and ripped up shirt complete with an 80's butt rock wigg and billy-bob teeth!

If you were not a dancer, what would you be? a Personal Trainer

What is your favorite dance moment? most recently doing an arabesque in the Sea of Gallilee in Israel.

What is your favorite/least favorite dance step? Jazz hands on hip-bones. I feel like I should be 50 or somthing!

Who would you say has been your biggest dance influence? God.

What is the name of your first dance teacher? Julie White

Favorite ice cream flavor: CC cookie dough. yum.

Favorite movie: The Emporers New Groove

Favorite band/singer: Jamie Cullum
