Please allow me to introduce to you Molly Weitz.  As a senior in high school, she is the youngest member of BEings.  She is a very accomplished dancer for her young age!

Molly began her dance training at the age of eight at the Lumiere Ballet School on Long Island. She trained for eight years in classical ballet under the direction of Svetlana Caton-Noble and Venti Petrov.

Molly has performed with the Lumiere Ballet School in numerous classical full length ballets as well as performing new choreography on Long Island and in New York City. She participated in four summer intensives at Lumiere Ballet. In the summer of 2007 she participated in the Boulder Jazz Dance Summer Intensive in Boulder, Colorado. In the summer of 2008, she was accepted to the prestigious Lines Ballet summer intensive in San Francisco, and attended the Complexions Contemporary Ballet summer intensive, studying with Dwight Rhoden and Desmond Richardson.  Molly currently dances at Alvin Ailey, Broadway Dance Center and Steps on Broadway taking classes in jazz, contemporary, and ballet. She is looking forward to continuing her dance studies at college next year, and acquiring a BFA in dance.

How old were you when you started dancing? Around 3, but started the serious dancing when I was eight

Where are you originally from? New York City =)

What is your worst style? Hip hop for sure. Haha

What was your first professional dance job? An MTV commercial for America's Best Dance Crew =)

What did your least favorite dance costume look like? Definitely the Russian costumes we had to wear in the Nutcracker

If you were not a dancer, what would you be? Actually lots of things, I would love to do something with fashion, styling, or planning events and parties

What is your favorite dance moment? Definitely turns =)

What is your favorite/least favorite dance step? Favorite is turning and least I do not really have one?

Who would you say has been your biggest dance influence? All of the amazing teachers I have learned from over the years

What is the name of your first dance teacher? My first real dance teachers were Svetlana Caton Noble and Venti Petrov

Favorite ice cream flavor: CHOCOLATE

Favorite movie: I have soo many I do not even know

Favorite band/singer: Same as favorite movie. I just have too many! but to name a few: Adele, Missy Higgins, Elisa, Coldplay and ALOT more
