Dance Canvas' Atlanta Performance Series

Dance Canvas, a choreography development and presenting company, launches its inaugural Atlanta performance series September 19th and 20th and the Woodruff Arts Center's 14th Street Playhouse.

Earlier this summer, Dance Canvas announced an open call for choreography submissions. Ten talented individuals were selected for the Fall show. However, because of the high turnout, Dance Canvas is preparing to offer at least two performance series each year.

Read on for a list of participating choreographers and ticket information.

Choreographers chosen for the Fall performance series are:

Jelani Jones, Jelani Jones Dance Company (Atlanta)
Koya Craddock (New Orleans)
Robert Mason (Atlanta)
Alison Seidenstricker, ASEID (New York)
Angella Foster, Refuge Dance Company (Atlanta)
Sarah Boies (Baton Rouge)
Kristy Nillson (Atlanta)
D. Norris (Atlanta)
Angela Harris (Atlanta)

The shows are Friday, September 19th and Saturday, September 20th at 8pm at the Woodruff Arts Center's 14th Street Playhouse, 173 14th Street, Atlanta, GA 30309.

Tickets went on sale August 15, and can be purchased at Dance Canvas' website.
