Due to the number of No Call No Shows that I receive, I have to protect myself and my business.
Each time someone does not show up to their lesson as scheduled, I am still charged $15 for renting out the studio for one hour. It is irresponsible, disrespectful, unprofessional, and unacceptable to schedule an appointment and not show up. I know not every person is like this, and it is unfortunate that those of you who do stay true to your commitments will have to go through this, I apologize.
Therefore I am instilling a mandatory meeting prior to your first lesson. This will be a consultation to discuss why you want to learn ballet/dance, what your goals are, how often you would like to take class, and if you are ready for the discipline required to endure such a rigorous routine. After assessing your seriousness to this commitment and I have determined that you will be dedicated, I will collect a non-refundable $15 fee for your first class. If you do not show up, you lose the $15.
Once you have taken your first lesson and if you wish to continue classes, you will pay the $15 in advance (totalling $50). After your first lesson you are required to give me 3 days notice to cancel your lesson otherwise your $15 rental fee will not be returned.
If you have any questions or concerns about this please send me an email at either of the addresses below.
