BEings: Trouble in Central Park
BEings choreographer goes to JAIL! How funny of a headline would that be?! That almost could have been the next blog topic, but this is just going to be a fun update of what went down in Central Park yesterday.
I would say we were there for five minutes before a park security guy came over to yell at us, NO CLIMBING! We were in some troubs! I very quickly got Elise and Philip to come down and reassured the guard that we would no longer climb the bars and would just take our pictures on the ground. I guess I cannot blame him, but he stood there for at least fifteen minutes to make sure no one climbed back up. I am sure you can see where this is heading. As soon as he was out of sight, we quickly got some shots up on the bars and got out of there! Can you imagine if I had ended up being arrested? Thankfully I at least know who my first phone call would have been to (shoutout to G, who I will introduce to you all later on in the blog)
Anyway, all in all we had a great time in the park, and with much relief I can say neither myself or my dancers ended up in the slammer yesterday. Phew! We have rehearsal on Sunday again, in the morning this time, so look out for a new blog coming soon after and as always, feel free to e-mail me at emilybufferd@danceruniverse.com. And do not forget about our performance coming up on September 20th at Dance New Amsterdam!
