Last time I sat through a Cedar Lake performance, as I stood up when the performance was finished, I realized that I was stunned. I was overwhelmed by the fire that existed in every dancer. I saw this fire as a representative for the most extreme emotions a human can feel; burning passion, corrosive curiosity, clinical depression, euphoric happiness. Not only did I see that fire in each dancer, but I saw it being created like flint and steel between the dancers and the choreography -The choreographers passed this fire down like the Olympic torch to the dancers and then to me.
