Dance School Experiences

Hello my name is Paula Eastman and my daughter and I run a small dance school in Northern Illinois.  I am fifty-seven and my daughter turns 30 next month (perhaps, I shouldn't have told you that, oh well, it is just us).  Together we run our family owned dance school.  We teach all ages, and nearly all subjects.  Our teams compete both regionally and nationally.  Our school has many national champions and both my daughter and I have several awards for choreography.  We thought it would be interesting to blog about our experiences in the local dance school, especially since we can approach ideas from two different generations of thought.

It can be quite challenging, and rewarding to teach and be in business with your daughter.  We hope you will enjoy our input, and we hope you will share your dance school experiences with us, as well.  Look for us in the near future.  Paula Lynne
