Fred Astaire was one of the most innovative tap dancers of his era, if not of all time.  But one of his biggest breakthroughs came through behind the camera.  What was it?  Compare these two clips and see if you can figure it out.

And here's some tapping after Fred came along (Fred and the fabulous Rita Hayworth, who was much, much more than a pretty face).

Can you spot the difference?  Camera angles!  Fred insisted that all his dances be shot showing the full body and, preferably, all in one take.  Doesn't it make a difference?
