DANCE-OPOLY Launches as the First-Ever Property Trading Game for Dance Aficionados
Tuesday, June 10, 2008 (New York, NY) - Dancer 4 Life Productions announced today that the art of dance now comes in a box; including dice, game pieces and Showbiz and Audition cards. DANCE-OPOLY is the new property trading game with a dance twist and the first and only board game based on the world of professional dance. The game is created especially for dance aficionados, teachers, choreographers, competition and convention dancers, parents and grandparents.
"Anyone who enjoys a fun time and has the curiosity for learning about dance will undoubtedly fall in love with DANCE-OPOLY. I predict it's going to be the big HIT this year as the best holiday gift for dancers," Amy Sato, Marketing Director, Capezio Ballet Makers.
Whether you're into Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Street, Irish-Step, Flamenco or Ballroom, you can buy you own dance style or take the next step and open up a dance studio. Work your way around the board and land the chance to buy your own dance theatre.
Want to enhance your dance skills? You can take private jazz lessons or learn the hottest street dancing moves. Once you've mastered these steps, why not audition for reality TV shows, Broadway and other dance shows in Los Angeles, New York, and Las Vegas. Just remember to be on time and try not to get nervous, or someone else may get your role. Whatever you do, make sure you don't lose your dance bag. It will cost you dearly to replace it.

ABOUT THE CREATORS:
Steve Notario, a successful Las Vegas show producer, had an enviable twenty-year career in dance. As a young street dancer, he became the 1976 California State Singles Dance Champion. He later became an original cast member of "The Dancin' Machine", a dance group that went on to perform in Las Vegas showrooms for the next twenty years, also performing in over one hundred television shows throughout the 1970's, including "The Midnight Special", "Hot City", "Kicks", "The American Music Awards", and "The Grammy Awards".
In the 1980's Steve was cast to sing and dance the lead roles for both the "Follies Bergere International Tour" and on Broadway in "West Side Story". In 1983 his group "The Footlockers" became the national semi-finalist on Star Search in the Dance category.
Dana Notario came onto the dance scene at the tender age of five, studying ballet for twelve years at the Rozann-Zimmerman School of Ballet in Chatsworth, California. At 19, she toured the US, Mexico, South America and Asia with the international tour of "The Flintstones on Parade", where she performed as a dancer and aerialist. She later returned to California where she studied jazz with Joe Tremaine, Bill Goodson, and Russell Clark. For the next few years her busy dance schedule had her performing at the Hollywood Palace, and in various music videos, TV commercials and fashion shows. She also helped her mom, Sandy Friedman, owner of the popular Capezio Dance Shop in Canoga Park, California, where she has been in business since 1973, and is proudly represented with a spot on the new DANCE-OPOLY game board!
With Steve and Dana's colorful and robust careers in dance and entertainment influencing the game's strategy and design, DANCE-OPOLY is a sure-fire hit and the perfect gift for the dancer in your life!
