Well, even though Britney Spears is not allowed to see her own kids, apparently the Millennium Dance Complex sees fit to have her teach dance to five-year-olds.

Yesterday, Spears taught seven youngsters some of her signature moves (hopefully, the G-Rated version), creating short combinations to Madonna's "Material Girl" and "True Blue."

Millennium's co-owner Robert Baker told the press, "She worked out this great little routine for them. They were dancing all over the place. She had them dancing in a circle like a choo-choo train. The kids loved it. They are having a ball right now. And Britney, she'sjust drinking it up. She's totally enjoying herself. It's an amazing class. She and the kids are certainly enjoying the process.

In fact, Spears enjoys the process so much, she's thinking of teaching the class regularly.

Parents and teachers: Would you allow your kid to take dance class from Britney Spears? Do you feel she's qualified to teach dance to such young, impressionable minds? Honestly, this brings to mind the parents who brought their kids to Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch. Millennium Dance Complex is just asking for trouble!

Brittany Teaching

Although she may be well qualified to teach, I wish she would get herself well so she can be more affective and be a better role model for young children.  I know she can get better.

Give a lady a break

Would I allow my kid to take class from Brit? If he or she really wanted to and under supervision. I am sure Millennium kept a close eye on the class ;-) Seriously, I think that this is the kind of thing that could be really good for her...........Do I think she is a role model? Well, I suppose as much as anybody else in the media. It is not her fault she is human and perhaps slightly out of touch with the real world..........it is the media's fault. It is the people that flock to her because of the attention. If you have ever seen this kind of thing happen to anyone you know, you start to notice that there are a lot of scum-bags out there. As all of this hoopla has been going on with this poor chick, I find myself thinking GO BACK TO DANCE CLASS and get yourself busy with something that makes you happy missy. I say good for Brit for getting her butt back into the studio and if teaching is what makes her happy so be it (under supervision). My first dance teacher had tattoos, acrylic nails, smoked in the studio and wore florescent thongs everyday. She was FABULOUS and still is. We all know that most people involved in the dance community are slightly eccentric....but seriously, there are really bad people out there. I strongly recommend that parents thoroughly check any person's background that they leave their children alone with (celebrity or not).....I have experienced/heard of worse teaching scenarios than anything Britney could dish out I am sure. I will now step down from my "leave Britney alone" soap box.

wowow okay heres what i think..

Yea brit has problem but maybe this could be good for her. She obv needs time to get herself straight. no i dont think that she should be teaching publicly becasue she really hasnt ben a good role model. but maybe with the teaching thing she can do herself good. my only worries is the way she dresses and acts. 5 yr olds dont need to be sexually dancing some of her moves are ill.. NASTY!!! I am an assistant teacher at my studio and my 5 yr old class.. we do strict dance becasue i know how important it is.

oh she is harmless

she is a little girl herself. If she was lecturing at Harvard then I would have a problem. She didn't start dancing like a stripper. She grew up dancing at a studio as a little girl. I think it's great that she finally decided to give back.

she is still harmless

just an update: Britney apparently gives a regular class every week to this kids.
