B-Girl Frak in MAX338

Decadancetheatre, the hip-hop company I used to perform with, are premiering a new show called MAX338 this weekend at the Brooklyn Lyceum.

MAX338 is inspired by the famous children's tale "Where the Wild Things Are." Deca director Jenn Weber, partnered with Graceful Records, has imagined a world where graffiti comes to life. Weber's all-female cast will recreate the flow, shape, and energy of graffiti lettering through their movements, and incorporate them into a narrative storyline.

Pay special attention to Lucille Graciano, aka B-Girl Frak, from France. Graciano plays the lead role in MAX338, and, according to Weber, has been "a great collaborator on the piece."
