The Festival:
Every year, the Pillow's Executive Director Ella Baff presents companies from around the world in programs that feature a wide variety of dance forms, live music, and world and United States premieres of works and companies. In addition to ticketed performances, the annual Festival features more than 200 free performances, talks, and events that are open to the public. The Pillow's 77th season kicks off with the annual Season Opening Gala on Saturday, June 20, an evening of celebration filled with dance. The Festival runs through August 30, 2009. Tickets traditionally go on sale to the public in early April; Jacob's Pillow Members and Subscribers receive early ordering privileges.
