Post Your Competition Dates!
Once you have created a profile for your company, and answered all of the profile questions as well as filling in your "about me" section, then you should create a group for your events.
Then, you are ready to visit the competition and convention central section and click on "submit event" underneath the "upcoming events" tab. When submitting your event, make sure to check only the Competition & Convention Central box, and the box for your group name.
Then, fill in the description, dates etc, and make SURE to fill in the venue location at the bottom, including city state and zip.
Do this for each event and you are good to go! You can also make updates through out the season, and you should also copy and paste your director's blog from your website into a new blog for your competition's place in MyDancePlace to give you that added boost of visibility within the network!
It is all free, but don't forget to include Dancer magazine in your 2009 season advertising campaign. Dancer is the most widely mailed magazine for studio owners in the industry, and we mail 50% more copies per month to 50% more studios than any other magazine!
