Welcome!!

Hello everyone and welcome to the Sound Guy blog.

As a sound technician for a traveling dance talent competition, I have come into conversation with many choreographers, dance school directors, judges, and, of course, dancers of all ages. One of the major complaints that I have heard from these individuals is the shortage of fresh and new music. Though I do not dance (a point I constantly have to emphasize to new acquaintances), I do share a passion for music and as music is the major foundation of dance, I would recommend to these individuals new albums or artists to checkout. It was my contribution to the dance community and has led me to the creation of this blog.

The purpose of this blog is to present music - old and new - in hopes to bring new inspiration to dance teachers around the country. I will post reviews of artists, albums, and songs along with a link to where they all can be heard, purchased, or downloaded. I also am here to answer questions about technology such as equipment, editing, and live performance. Please feel free to email me any questions, comments, and suggestions that you do have and continue checking in with the Sound Guy Blog.
