Freckleface Strawberry The Musical World Premiere
Growing up, actress Julianne Moore was taunted by her peers for having red hair and freckles. They called her 'Freckleface Strawberry,' the nickname that inspired her children's book which was published in 2007. Her book, which is about tolerance and self acceptance, was recently adapted for the stage and will make its world premiere at Manhattan Movement and Arts Center on July 1 at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. and July 2 at 3 p.m.
