This girl is amazing everytime she's in class! She's a cheerleader that has taken ballet with me for the last 2 years but just started to take it seriously! She made it into my dance company last year, competed once and that was all she needed! As you can tell i believe firmly in a ballet background!

Form

Form is really important to me. So i spend alot of time in ballet working on it! I capture the attention of young dancer's by posting their pictures in the studio so that they see themselves. I've noticed that they critique themselves and try to make corrections without me saying a word! VERY COOL!

These girls put in alot of work in ballet because they realize it's the one way to progress in any dance form! I think that flexibility and strength have to go hand in hand. So I work on it everytime I see my students I don't want them to forget the importance of being strong and the safety in being flexible.
